Azam Nazir Tarar, the federal minister of law and justice, categorically denied on Monday any rumors that the 27th Constitutional Amendment would be introduced.
“At this point, the 27th constitutional amendment is just conjecture,” he said in an interview with TV. There aren’t any upcoming constitutional amendments.
Tarar emphasized the government’s resolve to carry out the 26th constitutional amendment, which has already been passed, and said that it would benefit the country.
“The 26th constitutional amendment has been enacted, and its implementation is our focus,” he stated.
