The Petroleum Minister has convened a critical meeting to address the issue on Thursday, per the Prime Minister’s directive.
The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) Chairman has been directed by the Prime Minister to evaluate the consequences of price deregulation and create an implementation plan. The Prime Minister will be the one to approve this framework in the end.
