During an installment of Bunnie Xo’s podcast, “Dumb Blonde,” Lambert divulged personal information regarding the early phases of her association with McLoughlin.
Taste of Country claims that Lambert previously disclosed that she got to know her current spouse while working on the “Good Morning America” set in 2019. The site claims that Angaleena Presley, her bandmate, was the first to recognize her now-husband and called him the “hot cop.”
Her spouse, who is eight years younger than the country music singer, found it “mind-blowing” that Lambert remained “in touch” after her show by going back to the pre-technology era.
We corresponded via actual letters, sort of like in the old days,” Lambert remarked. “I asked, ‘Want to be pen friends?'” “Letters with a pen?” he asked. It was extremely mind-blowing to him that he was eight years younger.
2019 saw the couple secretly exchange vows, only a few months after they first met.
McLoughlin and Lambert had somewhat different upbringings. For his part, McLoughlin is a former New York police officer, while Lambert was born and reared in Texas. Lambert noticed that even though the pair came from distinct ethnic origins, they had a lot in common.
