It was an inevitable question at a press conference held at Zardari House in Islamabad.
Bilawal laughed a long while before responding.
“Meri shadi meri marzi,” he exclaimed, setting off a flurry of amusement among those present.
This year, Bilawal turned 36, and the marriage question has plagued him for a while.
When asked about his plans for marriage, Bilawal told reporters on the fringes of the 77th UNGA session, “Of course, I have plans to marry.”
In 2016, he mentioned that his sisters’ approval would be the primary requirement for his future spouse.
“My sisters’ hearts must be won over before the right candidate can be considered.”
