There is a lot of worry among the Nepalese community in Northern Virginia and beyond about the nurse and young mother after a grand jury returned a murder accusation against a man whose wife vanished in July.
According to Prince William County court documents, Naresh Bhatt is currently being charged by the state with murder and defiling a body. According to authorities, the latter charge is related to evidence that his wife, Mamta Kafle Bhatt, had her body dissected.

According to court documents, Bhatt, a former US Army Reserve automated logistics specialist and Fairfax County police recruit, was already charged with a felony of concealing a dead corpse. Since August, he has been detained without bond.
