In the past, new car generations arrive in Pakistan four to five years after they make their worldwide debut. With the Elantra’s international premiere in 2020, many anticipate a local launch in the near future.
A 7th generation Elantra was observed in Pakistan’s Balochistan province on August 6, 2024, which raised questions about the possibility of a hybrid version of the vehicle.
Although Hyundai Nishat Motors has not yet provided an official statement regarding the sightings, leaked photos imply that the car might indeed be a hybrid.
Adding to the intrigue, Hyundai Nishat Motors published a teaser on their official Instagram, displaying a photograph of a steering wheel recognized as that of the 7th-gen Elantra. Experts assume that this portends the arrival shortly.
