During her seven-day visit to African nations, Indian President Droupadi Murmu has chosen not to use Pakistani airspace, deviating from the previous policies of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Aviation sources claim that at 10:30 on Sunday morning, President Murmu’s special airplane left Delhi for Algeria. Usually, aircraft traveling to Algeria pass through Pakistani airspace before entering Iran, but on this occasion, the airplane chose a different path.
The Air India Boeing 777 completely avoided Pakistani territory as it passed across Jaipur, Gujarat, and Ahmedabad before entering Omani airspace.
President Droupadi Murmu of India will visit Algeria from October 13 to October 15 at the invitation of her counterpart, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, according to a statement from the ministry of external affairs.
