ISLAMABAD On Wednesday, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Umer Tanveer Butt and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur were named as offenders by the federal capital’s Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC).
The court also started the process of designating PTI leader Aamer Mehmood Kiani as a proclaimed criminal, separating the case against the two from the other accused.
ATC Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra issued arrest warrants for the defendants who did not attend the court and adjourned the case till January 15.
Due to a protest by PTI leaders over the Election Commission of Pakistan’s (ECP) decision to disqualify party founder Imran Khan from holding office, a first information report (FIR) was filed at the I-9 Police Station in 2022.
