ISLAMABAD: In a complaint filed at the I-9 police station regarding vandalism and a breach of Section 144 in the federal capital, Ahmedabad’s anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Friday designated Ali Amin Gandapur, the chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, as a proclaimed offender (PO).
Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra of the ATC issued an order in this respect.
On Thursday, the ATC began the process of designating Gandapur as a proclaimed offender because of his persistent absence in spite of numerous summonses.
Following the declaration of Gandapur PO, the court stated that the KP CM’s case had been isolated from that of other accused. However, non-bailable arrest warrants have been issued for Umer Tanveer, Faisal Javed, Wasiq Qayyum, and Raja Rashid.
