However, political analyst Sanjay Jha claims that the story “mesmerized” Indians as a “backlash against nepotism, entitlement, and dynastic politics.”
“They still give him the benefit of the doubt; some even think he’s capable of making mistakes. He is first among equals in the perception equation, thus he is free to act however he pleases. It seems unreal.”
