ISLAMABAD: The Election Cell has compiled statistics on newly elected members of the lower house, revealing that the majority of them are agricultural landowners and educated individuals; nonetheless, legislators under the age of 35 account for less than 4%.
The election cell collected data on the financial means, education, and ages of the 265 new members of the National Assembly.
According to information acquired by the Geo team, agriculture is the primary source of income for the majority of these MNAs, with 112 being landowners and 83 having a personal business, while 20 members are only involved in politics.
According to statistics, 16 of the NA members are attorneys, seven are doctors, four are engineers, four Islamic scholars, and three are custodians of shrines, three from the teaching field and 13 others are associated with different profession.
