Additionally, users will be able to obtain information from AI representations of Kristen Bell, Keegan Michael Key, and Awkwafina.
Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of the massive digital corporation, made the announcements during the annual Connect conference.
Mr. Zuckerberg also presented the Orion augmented reality (AR) glasses, the first working prototype, at the event.
Mr. Zuckerberg stated, “I think that voice is going to be a way more natural way of interacting with AI than text,” in reference to the changes to Meta AI.
The ChatGPT-like chatbot’s other new features include the ability to identify objects in photos and provide users with information about them.
Users will be able to modify photographs simply by directing the Meta AI to make the necessary adjustments using an image editing function.
According to the company, there are currently over 400 million users of Meta AI each month, with 185 million of them coming back each week.
Additionally, Meta revealed the Quest 3S, a budget-friendly model in its lineup of mixed-reality headsets, which will retail for $300 (£225).
Although they haven’t yet released widely available, commercially successful AR glasses, several of the largest tech companies in the world have been working on building AR spectacles.
Meta has invested billions of dollars in the development of AI, AR, and other technologies related to the metaverse in recent times.
