Users in the nation have been dealing with sluggish internet speeds and frequent disconnections over the past few months. The update of a “web management system” and issues with the undersea cable that connects Pakistan to the rest of the globe are among the several explanations offered by the government for the internet delay.
Shaza Fatima Khawaja, the minister of state for information technology, told reporters on Tuesday that while people blamed the “firewall” or “web management system” for internet interruptions, there was “limited information” available.
Furthermore, she claimed that frequent internet choking results from the nation’s demands not being met by the limited internet spectrum. She did, however, expect that the introduction of 5G internet would fix the problem.
