ISLAMABAD: The idea of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Barrister Gohar Khan to form a parliamentary committee for possible communication between the government and the opposition party has been accepted by National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq.
When asked about Barrister Gohar’s comments from a previous media appearance, he responded, “The prime minister has been approached to form a government negotiation team following PTI’s recommendation to create a negotiation panel.”
According to Sadiq, the PTI chairman asked the speaker to take an active part in the negotiations, acknowledging his responsibility as the house’s custodian.
He declared, “I agree with Barrister Gohar Khan’s suggestion to establish a negotiation committee.”
The speaker emphasized that negotiations are the key to resolving the nation’s problems.
