During Fashion Week, on a Friday evening in September 1988, Ms. Trump paid a visit to the Kit Kat Klub in New York City.
She added that she was greeted by a man named Donald Trump and his “attractive blonde” companion at a table in the VIP area.
“His charm and laid-back demeanor captivated me from the first minute of our conversation,” she remarked.
Trump enquired as to her contact number. According to the book, she asked him for his number instead of saying yes.
Days later, she would give him a call, and they would go on their first date to his Bedford, New York property, Seven Springs.
