The New York City Police Department (NYPD) has organized the first-ever ‘Pakistan Heritage and Resolution Month’ at its headquarters in the cosmopolitan, with Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States, Masood Khan, Mayor Eric L Adams, and others paying glowing tribute to the Pakistani American Law Enforcement Society.
Ambassador Khan expressed his opinion on the event, saying, “The increased visibility and remarkable performance of Pakistani-Americans in all aspects of life underlines the enormous potential of our people. It also reflects the strengthening ties between Pakistan and the United States.”
The Pakistani diplomat noted that the contributions of around 600 police officers of Pakistani heritage in the NYPD and over 1,000 police personnel across the US were a source of great pride for Pakistan and the Pakistani community.
