On Thursday, the Pakistan Broadcasters Association (PBA) convened its annual general body meeting for the 2024–25 year, during which its office-bearers were chosen.
According to a statement, Shakeel Masud Hussain ( News) was elected as secretary general, Ahmed Zuberi (TV) as joint secretary, Muhammad Ather Kazi (KTN) as finance secretary, Salman Iqbal ( News) as senior vice chairman, Mir Ibrahim Rahman (CEO TV Network) as vice chairman, and Mian Amer Mahmood (News) as chairman.
Members from radio and television attended the PBA’s annual general body meeting.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, meanwhile, congratulated the PBA’s recently elected officials.
In addition, he conveyed the hope that the recently elected officials will actively participate in resolving the broadcasting and broadcast house difficulties.
