The Pakistan Navy has recovered a sizable shipment of Indian-made narcotic pills and other drugs valued at millions of dollars in a successful anti-drug operation in the North Arabian Sea.
About 2000 kg of hashish, 370 kg of ice, and 50 kg of heroin are among the other drugs that were seized, according to a statement released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Monday.
The medications that were seized are worth $145 million on the global market. According to military media, the recovered drugs have been turned over to Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) personnel.
“The Pakistan Navy remains active at all times to prevent all kinds of illegal activities in the region’s maritime boundaries,” the statement said.
According to the news release from the Pakistan Navy, the ANF officials participated in the counter-narcotics operations.
