At the Al Amerat Cricket Ground in Oman on Wednesday, Pakistan defeated the United Arab Emirates by 114 runs and advanced to the Emerging Asia Cup 2024 semi-final thanks to Mohammad Haris’ undefeated 49-ball 71 and Shahnawaz Dahani’s five-for.
As the Shaheens bowlers quickly confused the Emirati team, they were swept out for 65 inside the 17th over while chasing a target of the United Arab Emirates. Rahul Chopra, the captain of the UAE, was the only one to put up a fight, stealing 18 balls of 20.
Shahnawaz Dahani (5-12) demonstrated his abilities for the Shaheens by going on to collect a five-for.
For his 2–17, Sufiyan Muqeem was outstanding.
Arafat Minhas (1–13), Abbas Afridi (1–12), and Ahmed Daniyal (1–10) each got a scalp.
The Shaheens had earlier lost two wickets for 48 after choosing to bat first.
