Insights on their feelings and responses to their daughter’s recent release have been provided by the parents of Chappell Roan, a rising talent who won big in the 2024 award seasons.
Chappell Roan, whose real name is Kayleigh Rose Amstutz, was interviewed alongside her mother Kara Amstutz and father Dwight Amstutz in a recent episode of A Carpool Karaoke Christmas.
Kara remembered the song “Pink Pony Club” from her autobiographical album “The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess,” which detailed her journey from a small Missouri town to Los Angeles to pursue a career as a singer.
Her mother started off by adding, “I love singing that song with her at her shows.”
