ISLAMABAD: The Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) is accepting applications for the Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF) Master’s Level Scholarship for M.Phil and MS students enrolled in the Fall-2023 and Spring-2024 semesters.

According to a statement provided by the QAU Student Financial Assistance Office, the scholarship application deadline is March 29.

According to the PEEF Master’s Level Scholarship policy 2023-24, the minimum eligibility criteria include Punjab domicile, at least 60% marks or a minimum CGPA 2.5 in the graduation level examination held in 2021-22, 2022-23, and 2023-24 (spring and fall sessions), and a minimum of sixteen years of schooling or four years of education after HSSC/F.A/F.Sc./Grade 12 examination.

Students who received a BS degree from the university are also eligible for the scholarships.

Those who have been admitted as full-time students at the university for the academic year 2023-24 are also eligible, according to the statement.

Similarly, parents’ reported monthly income (from all sources) is equal to or less than Rs60,000. However, children of government employees in BPS 1-4 are excluded from the monthly income requirement if salary is their sole source of income. Children of civilians killed in terrorist incidents are free from the requirement of monthly income.

Students who are not receiving any other educational scholarships during the current academic year, as well as those who have already completed or hold MA, MSc, MS, or M.Phil degrees, are ineligible to apply for the PEEF Master Level Scholarship.
