Salwan Momika, a well-known Islamophobic provocateur, and other users posted a video on social networking platform X on Wednesday, alleging that it depicted a Christian man in Pakistan being severely abused by Muslims. The film, however, actually documents an occurrence that happened in 2022 in Bhopal, India.
On August 28, Momika shared a video of a man getting severely beaten by multiple people on the social media site X.
“His only crime is being a Christian among Muslims in Pakistan,” said the post’s description. Could Christians treat Muslims the same way in the West?
Four million people viewed the post, and it was shared 12,000 times.
Other people also extensively reposted the identical video with the same comment.
