The president of Israel commented on the large-scale antisemitic camps that have appeared at prestigious universities and colleges around the country, denouncing the “masked cowards” who “smash windows and barricade doors.”
Israel’s president, Isaac Herzog, addressed Jewish students who felt hurt by the demonstrations on campuses across the country.
“In the face of violence, harassment, and intimidation, as masked cowards smash windows and barricade doors, assault the truth and manipulate history, together, we stand strong,” President Herzog stated in a video message.
“We will work together to free our hostages held by Hamas and fight for civil liberties of the entire free world, as well as our right to believe and belong, while they chant for infitada and genocide.”
