The fees for obtaining a driving permit, a license, and license renewals have increased dramatically, according to the Islamabad administration.
The administration has announced that the increased cost of a driving license in Islamabad will take effect right now.
The cost of a six-month driving license permit has gone up from Rs349 to Rs1,000.
The cost of a non-professional license has increased to Rs3,000 from Rs1,800 in the interim.
Professional license (LTV and HTV) prices have gone up from Rs 2,100 to an astounding Rs 10,000.
Additionally, the cost of obtaining a digital driver’s license has increased to Rs2,000, and the renewal charge is now fixed at Rs2,000 for one year and Rs3,000 for three.
The notice indicated that the reinstatement costs for a license that has been suspended have been increased to Rs20,000.
