Pakistan’s gold prices increased in tandem with the global increase. After rising Rs700 on Wednesday, the price of gold per tola on the local market was Rs307,000.
According to rates provided by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), 10-gram gold also saw a rise of Rs601 and was sold for Rs263,203.
In Pakistan, the price per tola rose by Rs4,800 on Tuesday, reaching Rs306,300.
On Wednesday, the global gold rate increased. The rate was $2,921 per ounce (with a $20 premium), up $5 during the day, according to APGJSA.
