There were several rumors that the creators of Black Panther were looking to recast T’Challa for the third film.
However, these are untrue, according to Marvel Studios’ VP of Production & Development and the movie’s producer, Nate Moore.
“The fact is that those rumors are untrue. Never say never to anything. Ryan Coogler is currently finishing up his movie Sinners, which is coming out this year, so we haven’t really had many creative discussions with him yet,” he continued.
“We’ll get into it later this year, but everything you read online is not true, if for no other reason than we just haven’t started [working on it].”
Nate dispelled the rumors by hinting that Black Panther 3 will be preceded by the events of Captain America.
