As a world authority on the psychology of emotions, Ethan Kross has discovered a set of resources that can assist us in taking care of our well-being.
Since his early childhood, Ethan Kross has been “an observer of emotion” and the frequently ineffective ways in which we cope with challenging emotions. We all appeared to be merely fumbling along, occasionally coming up with a Band-Aid or unintentional answer to assist us in dealing with our emotional lives. Our makeshift instruments were useful at times. They occasionally made matters worse. “It appeared so random, alienating, and ineffective,” he adds.
As the director of the Emotion and Self-Control Laboratory and a psychologist at the University of Michigan, Kross aspires to make this unfortunate situation better.
