By announcing a decrease in bread prices, the Punjab government has expanded the Roti Relief Program to the Kasur area.
Deputy Commissioner Kasur, Muhammad Arshad Bhatti, sent a notification on Thursday informing people that the cost of a double roti (730 grams) has been lowered to Rs 180, and the cost of a single roti (400 grams) to Rs 100.
The new rates are effective as of right now, and any baker or retailer discovered to have disregarded the notice faces severe consequences.
This action is a component of the government’s attempts to manage the price of necessities and help its inhabitants.
