On the occasion of Eid al Fitr, the Punjab government has approved a nine-day break for Daanish schools, starting on April 6.
The province’s Daanish schools will be closed from April 6 to April 14 according to a notice released by the authorities on Saturday.
In order to give people enough time to make preparations and enjoy the happy festivities, Eid holidays typically begin one day early.
According to state-run APP, the government is reportedly considering a four-day holiday that would run from Tuesday, April 9, to Friday, April 12. This would be in addition to the regular weekend holidays that both the government and some private offices observe on Saturday and Sunday. Therefore, the total anticipated holiday period would be six days.
