After starring in seven seasons of the legal drama Suits, Patrick J. Adams has finally disclosed why he quit the show.
The 43-year-old actor revealed that he left the program to concentrate on his marriage to Pretty Little Liars star Troian Bellisario during an interview on the most recent episode of Jesse Tyler Ferguson’s Dinner’s on Me podcast.
Adams remarked, “It was a bunch of different things,” “I felt done, mostly.”
“The show starts [with], like, my character has a secret,” the celebrity added. For a guy who was lying and hiding, there was all this intriguing stuff to play, and this other guy was the only one who knew his secret. And that all peeled away over the span of seven seasons.
