Ariana Grande has discussed why she is giving Wicked credit under her real name.
The singer recently opened up about why she is putting her full name in the credits of her upcoming film in an interview with Justin Hill on The Streaming Service.
She started by saying, “Technically, it’s my little girl name,” and then, after considering her given name, she added, “Technically, it’s little Ari’s name.”
Furthermore, the singer of 7 Ring remarked, “But, no, I just feel like this experience was such a homecoming for me,” after seeing the performance.
“I feel like I came home to myself in a lot of ways through what I learned from Glinda, from [Cynthia’s character] Elphaba,” she continued at the time.
