Because Netflix plans to air Liam Payne’s boyband talent show Building the Band without consulting them, his family is “furious” with the company.
Radar Online claims that Payne’s family contacted the streaming behemoth to confirm that they were comfortable with the show and its premiere date.
Nevertheless, Netflix has declared that it will release the series later this year without the “final seal” from the Teardrops hitmaker’s family.
“Liam’s family is extremely upset with the way this has transpired,” one source told the magazine.
They went on to say, “They wanted to watch the entire series and talk about some of its aspects before it airs because it is obviously sensitive for them.”
