At 236 feet tall and with a top speed of 81 mph, Hyperia at Thorpe Park is purported to be the fastest and highest structure in the nation.
Although it opened to the public on Friday, the theme park published an update on its website on Saturday.
“Due to unforeseen circumstances, we are unable to open Hyperia between Sunday 26th-Wednesday 29th May,” the message continued.
“We apologise for the disappointment this will cause and we are working hard to reopen Hyperia as soon as possible,” said the statement.
The theme park is offering free rebooking on a different day to those who pre-booked during the temporary closing period.
