Muhammad Asif, the global amateur snooker champion from Pakistan, won the third SAARC Snooker Championship in Colombo on Friday with an impeccable performance.
Without losing a single frame during the competition, he easily defeated Thaha Irshath of Sri Lanka 5-0 in the championship match.
Asif displayed his remarkable skills and cue control throughout the final, which took place at the Moors Snooker Club in Colombo.
He won the final with frame scores of 99-3, 73-46, 85-38, 109-6, and 74-0, dominating the entire match.
In the best of nine final, Asif recorded three breaks of 50 or more, including a high break of 67 in the first and last frames, which guaranteed his victory.
Asif has won the SAARC Snooker Championship eight times in his career.
