In May 2025, the US trio will go on a 10-date UK tour to commemorate the 20th anniversary of their critically acclaimed debut album, commonly known as Scissor Sisters.
Frontman Jake Shears says of the band’s success, “It’s wild,” in an interview with News. “It feels like yesterday, and then it also feels like a really long time ago.”
The band said they will honor founding member Ana Matronic on stage even if she has chosen not to participate in the reunion gigs.
“It provides us with a chance to approach things in a somewhat different manner,” explains bassist and keyboardist Scott “Baby Daddy” Hoffman.
To get some folks on stage and invite some friends to do enjoyable things—not to take Ana’s place in any manner.
The band is excited when asked if Rebecca Lucy Taylor, who costarred with Shears in the London version of Cabaret last year, may be one of the guest stars.
“God, I adore her,” Shears exclaims. “Whenever I’m on stage with her, I feel incredibly fortunate to be there.
