Senior Director of GCAA UAE, Mr. Abdullah Al Kaabi, oversaw the aviation security assessment carried out by the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (UAE-GCAA) at the airports in Islamabad and Karachi. PCAA served as the host organization.
The crew examined a number of aviation security sections at the two airports during the inspection, including cargo, catering security, and passenger and luggage screening.
They evaluated ground handling agents, regulated cargo agents, catering services, and airlines that fly directly to the United Arab Emirates.
In addition to reviewing national and airline security documentation, the examination concentrated on security access control, aviation security inspections, and other associated procedures.
The GCAA UAE team conveyed satisfaction with the overall security protocols upheld by Airport Management and thanked the PCAA for hosting them throughout the session.
