KARACHI: The Sindh Education Department released a revised timetable for regular sessions at all schools operating in single and double shifts on Tuesday, ahead of the holy month of Ramadan.
During Ramadan, all elementary, secondary, and higher secondary schools would be subject to the revised schedule.
The new timetable states that primary schools that operate in single shifts will start regular sessions at 8 a.m. and end at 1:30 p.m., while on Fridays, the hours will be 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
In the meantime, primary schools that work two shifts will have courses from 7:30 am to 11:30 pm and from 11:45 am to 2:45 pm. On Fridays, the first shift’s hours will not alter, while the second shift will run from 11:45 to 1:30.
