The additional time was approved by Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah during a provincial cabinet meeting on Thursday. The Anti-Terrorism Act will not limit the authority of the Sindh Rangers.
Additionally, the cabinet approved the Sindh Building Control Authority’s creation of a governing body to replace the Overseas Committee. The appointment of four new members to the Thar Coal and Energy Board was also approved. Karni Singh, Jam Khan Shoro, Minister of Irrigation, Sardar Shah, and Shazia Mari are among the members.
A spokesman said that the cabinet removed stamp duty on a 45,371 square yard property in North Nazimabad where the Bohri community intends to erect a university.
