The Lahore police appear to have made some progress in their investigation into the murder of Tipu Truckanwala’s son, Ameer Balaj Tipu, as they claim to have identified the putative ringleader of the squad responsible for the fatal attack.
According to authorities, the suspect, known as Bilawal, departed the country to Dubai via Sialkot Airport the day after the incident.

According to police sources, Bilawal’s involvement became apparent when his photograph was pushed to the forefront of the inquiry. It was revealed that he had rented a car to attend the wedding when Ameer Balaj was fatally shot.
The police have also detained both the vehicle and the driver, Nauman.To further their efforts to bring the perpetrator to justice, the police reportedly approached Interpol for aid in apprehending Bilawal, who is thought to be the son of the main accused’s brother-in-law, Teefi Butt.
