A Kharijite attack on an FC checkpoint in Dera Ismail Khan is among the current spate of terrorist acts that Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has denounced.
Ten Frontier Corps (FC) men at the Zam check post were martyred in the attack. Attacks on the vehicles of SHO Janikhel in Bannu and a sub-inspector in Kohat were among the fire events that also targeted security officers in Bannu and Kohat.
Minister Naqvi praised the commitment and ultimate sacrifices made by the FC and police officers in the battle against terrorism and sent his deepest sympathies and condolences to their families. He said, “The sacrifices of our martyrs are beyond repayment and will live on eternally in our hearts,” referring to them as a “eternal honor” for the country.
