There may be different periods when travel in the twin cities would be interrupted due to security concerns during the SCO session in Islamabad.
A thorough traffic plan for October 15 and 16 has been released by the Islamabad Traffic Police in this regard.
The following are the traffic guidelines:
GT Road: People can use the Taxila Motorway, Chakri, and Chak Beli Rawat Road to get from Peshawar to Rawat. It is recommended to use Rawat, Chak Beli Road, Chakri, and the Taxila Motorway for travelers traveling from GT Road to Peshawar.
Margalla Road: Ninth Avenue will be the route to Rawalpindi from G-5, G-6, and F-6. There will also be a diversion to Ninth Avenue for traffic coming from Faisal Avenue toward Zero Point.
