Ahead of the general election later this year, the prime minister will lay out “the stark choice facing the UK public” in what Downing Street is billing as a “major speech” in central London.
According to Foreign Secretary Lord Cameron, who told News on Sunday that voters need time “to see our plan is working,” Mr. Sunak has indicated he will cast his ballot in the autumn
The Tory leader will say, “I have bold ideas that can change our society for the better and restore people’s confidence and pride in our country,” in an attempt to reinvigorate his flagging premiership.
“I have a strong sense of immediacy. Because compared to the prior 30 years, more will change in the next five.
“I firmly believe that the upcoming years will be among the most perilous and revolutionary that our nation has ever experienced.”
