LONDON: A senior US State Department official has stated that any actions taken by the Trump administration would not be unique to Pakistan but rather would apply to all nations worldwide, as the administration considers imposing severe travel restrictions that would affect citizens of dozens of nations, including Pakistan.
In his State of the Union address, Trump expressed gratitude to Pakistan and emphasized the need for international cooperation to better safeguard the United States, Margaret MacLeod, who works at the US Embassy in London, told Geo News.
She claimed that although a number of unreliable reports regarding the ban have surfaced, the reality is that merely a review is now underway.
