Omar Marmoush has been a somewhat successful goal scorer in the German Bundesliga for a few seasons, but after a strong start to the season, he had to wait patiently for his big break until being revealed as Manchester City’s third January acquisition on Thursday.
After being identified by former Manchester United winger Ryan Giggs, he moved to Germany from the Egyptian second division at the age of 18. He played in the junior team for a few seasons before making his senior debut in May 2020.
