ISLAMABAD: The West Indies team arrived here Monday to play a two-match Test series, marking their first trip to Pakistan in 18 years for the lengthier version of cricket.
Before the matches at the Multan Cricket Stadium later this month, the team flew from Dubai to Islamabad on flight EK 612.
As part of their preparations, the visitors will take against the Pakistan Shaheens in a three-day practice match starting on January 10.
On January 6, the two teams will meet in Islamabad, and throughout the following few days, training will be conducted. The Pakistani team will begin training at the Islamabad Club on January 7. The Caribbean team will train hard for two days in January in order to get ready for the series.
