Chepsamo village’s farming community has been crushed by the 24-year-old’s death in a road accident over two weeks ago while he was returning home.
His mother Mary Kangongo told the news, “He was always joking. We spoke the night before he passed away, and he was joking about the Africa Cup of Nations final.”
The game was taking place in Abidjan, and the hosts, Ivory Coast, shocked a lot of people by defeating nigeria.
“He told me that I should support Nigeria but I told him I wouldn’t be watching football as it was on too late,” she stated.
His mother, devastated by the collision, spent several days in the hospital following her admission.
