Mobile SIMs belonging to non-filers are being blocked; thus far, 230,000 non-filers’ SIMs have been blocked in stages.
Multiple telecom firms received the non-filer’s data, according to FBR sources. After submitting their income tax forms, 76636 people had their mobile SIM cards reinstated.
Up to now, 230,000 non-filers’ SIMs have been gradually blocked. It has been determined to keep up the effort to include non-filers in the tax system.
