The Clearwater Fire and Rescue Department reports that a plane crashed into a mobile home park in Clearwater, Florida, on Thursday night, killing several persons.
A Beechcraft Bonanza V35 crashed into the Bayside Waters mobile home park, formerly known as Japanese Gardens, on U.S. 19 south of the Clearwater Mall, according to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), which verified the incident to FOX 13 Tampa Bay. According to officials, the call was received at 7:08 p.m.
Scott Ehlers, the chief of Clearwater Fire Department, stated at a press conference on Thursday night that the plane struck one mobile home, causing the fire to spread to three further residences. According to him, one building may have fire damage, but three structures “definitely” have damage from fire.
According to Ehlers, “several fatalities” have been reported from both the aircraft and the mobile home it fell into. The aircraft was discovered inside one of the structures.

The publication received confirmation from FAA representatives that the pilot had reported an engine problem.
“A tiny plane crash has brought us to the scene of a mobile home park south of Clearwater Mall. There have been several mobile home fires. On X, the platform that was once known as Twitter, fire officials posted, “Firefighters from multiple jurisdictions are on scene.”

According to Ehlers, firefighters were able to put out the fire swiftly.
