KARACHI: Two of the key University Road’s tracks will remain blocked to traffic, the city’s traffic police declared on Monday.
According to the traffic police on Monday, portions of the main University Road between Safura and Samama are off-limits to vehicles.
Nonetheless, the traffic police have given commuters alternate routes in light of the road closures.
Traffic is being promptly redirected from NIPA onto the Dow University (Ojha Campus) turning and is being routed via Sachal to Safura, according to the traffic officials.
In addition, the traffic police claimed that traffic from Samama is being routed to NIPA and traffic from Safura is being redirected onto the Jauhar Chowrangi.
It is crucial to remember that traffic police are stationed at the site to direct travelers and preserve traffic flow.
While development work is being done for the Karachi Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) service, which will soon be accessible for more routes, these roads are being closed.
