The Odyssey from Villa Vie Residences landed at the capital of Northern Ireland, Queen’s Island, to be furnished prior to its scheduled departure on May 30th for the first leg of a three-year cruise.
But because to issues with the gearbox and rudders, the ship hasn’t gone yet.
Holly Hennessey, a Florida resident, is one of the people on board who have “hunkered down” and made the unexpected metropolis their home.
The self-described “cruise addict” has been unable to leave Belfast while she waits for the ship to be ready since she is traveling with her cat, Captain.
While they are required to disembark in the evenings, passengers are permitted to spend time on the ship during the day.
According to Ms. Hennessey, we can spend the entire day on the ship, and there are shuttle buses available for getting on and off.
It’s almost like traveling, only we’re at the dock, and they provide all of our meals along with movies and quizzes.
